British Standard Cylinders | Locks

British Standard cylinder locks are special locks that are made with a cylinder that can easily be replaced by a locksmith if needed. However, these locks are extremely strong and durable. In addition, the length of the lock cylinders can vary, which means that they are suitable for a range of different door thicknesses. A master key can be used with these locks so that several different locks can be opened with the same key if required.

British Standard Cylinders Locks can contain a range of different types of locking mechanisms such as a wafer tumbler lock, a disk tumbler lock or a pin tumbler lock. These locks are typically made from polished brass that is plated with nickel. However, they can also be made from a range of other materials such as stainless steel and some of the leading manufacturers of British Standard Cylinders Locks include Yale, Walsall, GeGe pExtra and ERA, all of which are lock specialists and are known for their easy to use and high-quality products.
