Rollerbolt Nightlatches

Rollerbolt Nightlatches are similar to nightlatches, but with a Rollerbolt Nightlatch it is impossible to become locked out. The door, when closed, remains latched on a sprung roller. It is locked by turning the knob from the inside, or by using the Yale key to lock the door from the outside. This means that for safety and security, the door is closed but can be opened, and it is not deadlocked unless the lever handle is turned inside the property, or the key used from outside the property.

The Yale 81 Rollerbolt Rim Deadbolt can be used on inward or outward opening, double hinged doors of a maximum of 35-60mm thickness. The bolt extends from 9mm to 20mm. It is available in a dark metallic, grey finish, with a satin chrome, or polished brass cylinder. Alternatively, the case only can be purchased without cylinders. The case measures 92mm by 70mm. Cylinders on existing masterkey systems are available, and replacement cylinders can be purchased. The Yale 81 is supplied with two keys (additional keys can be purchased) and a five pin cylinder, and is available from easylocks; the UK’s number one lock shop.
