Please note that it is your responsibility to read the terms and conditions on each occasion you use this website and your continued use of the website shall signify your acceptance to be bound by the latest terms and conditions.

easylocks limited have a budget range on their website, that is branded ezlok. 

When a product is ordered from this range it may not be branded ezlok when it arrives.

easylocks will not be held responsible for the call out of a locksmith in the event of lock failure due to manufacturers defect. 

The lock(s) should be fully tested before installation.

Purchase

Payments we accept are Visa, Solo, Mastercard, Switch and most other debit/credit cards as well as Paypal. 

We will also accept payments by cheque and bank transfer. 

We cannot accept payment via American Express. 

Please note that no goods will be shipped until full payment has cleared.

We use SSL security encrypted protocols for all transactions processed on our servers.

An order for goods placed by you, the buyer, through our website shall be subject to these terms and conditions. 

All other terms and conditions, express or implied by statute or otherwise, are excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law. 

Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to limit any rights you might have as a consumer under any applicable law or other statutory rights that may not be excluded nor in any way to exclude or limit our liability to you for any death or personal injury resulting from our negligence. 

Full payment for the total value of the goods ordered must be received before the order can be processed. 

Once payment has been received we will confirm receipt of your order by email to the address supplied by you on your order form. 

The finalization of the contract between both parties will be deemed complete when your goods are dispatched, special orders cannot be cancelled once the order has been placed. 

This includes Keyed Alike and Master Suite systems as well as any additional keys if they have already been processed. 

easylocks reserve the right to cancel your order if we have insufficient stock to deliver the goods ordered, we do not deliver to your area; or one or more of the goods you ordered was listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or an error in the pricing information received by us from our suppliers.   

If we do cancel your order we will notify you by e-mail and will re-credit to your account any sum deducted by us from your credit card as soon as possible but in any event within 30 days of your order. easylocks Ltd are not obliged to offer any additional compensation for disappointment suffered.

 Keyed Alike, Masterkeyed, Additional Keys and Special Orders

easylocks can supply many types of locks keyed alike or masterkeyed.  

Most of our locks will come complete with 2 or 3 keys for a suite so for example if 10 locks were ordered keyed alike they would come with 2 or 3 keys in total unless otherwise stated. 

The amount of keys received depends upon how many keys a non keyed alike version of the lock would be supplied be with. If it is 2 keys, 2 keys in total would be received, if 3 keys, 3 keys in total etc. If a lock is ordered to a certain key number then it wont come supplied with keys.

Some of our products also state that they are a special order, and items made to order and any additional keys that are cut for an order will not be entitled for a refund unless an error is made at our end.

Special orders are usually items that we do not keep in stock, made to order items, or unusually large quantities of an item. Due to this, there may be additional shipping charges incurred, as well as a longer lead time.

Delivery

Delivery prices may vary depending on the country the goods are sent to. 

Our delivery prices are clearly laid out before any payment is taken. If part of your order is out of stock, we will wait until the full order can be completed before sending it, unless otherwise authorised by a manager. 

We use Royal Mail primarily as well as other delivery methods.

All goods over £30 and Special Deliveries must be signed for. 

Next day deliveries are usually a next working day unless otherwise stated.

A working day is from Monday – Friday 

We can deliver on a Saturday and in the AM however this may incur additional charges. 

Deliveries may be delayed by a day during UK Bank Holidays. 

During busy periods such as Christmas, delivery dates may take a little longer. Unfortunately this is due to circumstances out of our control, and easylocks are not obliged to offer compensation for late deliveries. 

Our standard delivery is £3.95, and will take 2-5 working days, and our Next Working Day Delivery is £7.95. Our offer of free delivery for orders over £100 is only applicable to our standard delivery, any special delivery such as Next Working Day, Saturday delivery etc would still have full charges incurred. 

You will receive an email stating that the goods have been despatched.

If you are unavailable to take delivery the delivery company will leave a card explaining further instructions, if the goods are returned to us then you may be charged a re-delivery fee. 

If an incorrect address has been provided, then we would need to receive the parcel back to ourselves before resending, as well as incurring the redelivery charge.

The redelivery charge will normally be the same price as original postage charge unless otherwise stated. 

If your goods are lost in transit then this will be passed on to the lost/stolen department within the delivery company. Until we have received the refund or the goods back from the delivery company you will neither receive a refund or replacement.

 For Royal Mail deliveries, we have to wait 15 working days after the parcel has not been delivered before claiming, however claim times can vary from courier to courier.

easylocks will not be liable for any consequential loss claims arising from late deliveries or failure of our products.

Please make sure when adding the product to your cart that you choose the correct option. For example, the image may be a Brass lock, but if you require a Chrome one then you need to make sure that you select it. 

Returns and cancellations

You have the right to cancel your order at anytime for a full refund. However once your goods have been despatched then you will be liable for the cost in returning the goods to us.  

Please note that all goods returned to us must be in an as new condition. You must inform us within a seven day period of any defects with the goods. 

After the seven day period then your goods will be covered by the manufactures warranty for up to 12 months. 

After the seven working day period, we will be unable to accept goods back

Goods that are returned to us will incur a 20% re-stocking charge unless the fault lies at our end. 

It is the customer’s responsibility to pay for any carriage costs in returning the goods to us. 

Please note that we will not be able to refund any item/s that have been keyed alike unless there was a mistake at our end, this is also the case for any extra keys that have been ordered and also masterkeyed systems.

We would also like to make you aware that refunds may take up to 28 working days to be processed.

If your goods need to be returned, please contact us at returns@easylocks.co.uk.

We have several different returns addresses, so please do not send the goods to our postal address as the goods may need to be returned elsewhere. If returned to the incorrect address the refund may take a couple of extra days to process as we have to get the items to the correct address.

If the error lies at our end we will arrange the return of the item/s.

Gasket & weatherseals are non returnable as these are cut to size.

GEGE Pextra cylinders are non returnable as they are built from components.

Borg, Kaba, Codelock & Lockey products will be offered a repair not a replacement. If the lock cannot be repaired it will then be replaced by the manufacturer.

Privacy

easylocks do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment.

In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option.

They are also used after you have logged on as part of that process.

You can turn off cookies within your browser by going to 'Tools | Internet Options | Privacy' and selecting to block cookies.

If you turn off cookies, you will be unable to place orders or benefit from the other features that use cookies.

Data collected by this site is used to take and fulfil customer orders and enhance the site and service.

We only disclose information to third-parties for goods delivery purposes. We don't hold or pass on any credit/debit card details to any third parties.
