Double Panic Bars | EN1125
Double panic bars can be fitted to emergency doors to allow a quick exit from public areas in an emergency. They also provide a visual cue that makes it easier to identify an emergency exit. Double panic bars can be easily fitted to double doors and all conform to the EN1125 fire standard.
The Briton 378 double panic bolt is made up of a 378DDS double door strike with a Briton 378 Rim Panic Latch, and a Briton 376 Vertical Panic Bolt. Pushing the bar withdraws the vertical bolt on the first door and withdraws the latch on the second door. It can be used with rebated double doors. The Exidor 285 Double Rebated Panic Push Bar Set comprises an Exidor 296 Rim Panic Latch, a 300 Box Keep, and an Exidor 294 vertical panic bolt. Versions designed for use with metal doors, and with vertical or horizontal Pullman latches, are available by special order. A wide range of quality security products from leading manufacturers is available from easylocks.
